The Leeds City School System is dedicated to providing the latest and best suited hardware and software to create the best possible education experience for students and staff.  We provide a highly efficient wireless wide area network system which allows data communication between schools and access to the internet.  Well designed local area networks within the schools enable all system personnel and students to benefit from all the tools and resources technology has to offer. 

While it is important that we provide the latest technology, it is paramount that we are also in compliance with the Children's Internet Protection Act (CIPA).  CIPA is a federal law enacted by Congress in December 2000 to address concerns about access to offensive content over the Internet on school and library computers.  It is with the safety of our children in mind that we have implemented a highly sound filtering system to block inappropriate or harmful content that may be accessed while on the internet.
