Mrs. Deidra Courington

Hi! My name is Deidra Courington. Welcome to my page! I am in my 5th year of being an Auxiliary Teacher in PreK. I love working in PreK because it brings me so much joy to see their little faces light up when they learn new things. Every day is an adventure here in PreK.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from Auburn University (War Eagle) and a Master of Education in Counseling from the University of Montevallo. I am currently working on my Alternative A Certification from the University of West Alabama. This certification will allow me to teach kindergarten through 3rd grade.

I am married to my husband of 16 years. We have two daughters. One is 14 and one is 10. We also have two dogs and a cat. My husband and I both graduated from Auburn University so we absolutely love football season! Both of our girls ride horses so we spend a lot of our weekends on the road at horse shows. We have lived in Leeds for 9 years now and really love this community. I cannot think of a better place to raise my children than Leeds. I look forward to many more years of teaching the children of Leeds!
