LMS students lead their way to success
6th graders are in a whole new world at Leeds Middle School. The great news is, the faculty and staff at LMS do everything they can to set the new kids on the block up for success.
This week, students sat down with some of the faculty for one on one progress report conferences. The conferences were held during Mrs. Williamson's Social Studies class. All 6th grade students had the chance to sit down with Mr. Byrd, Mrs. Hutto, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Ray, Mr. Ellis, Ms. Olga, and Coach Langford. The purpose of the conference was to discuss what the student is doing well at so far and why. The students also received feedback on what they could work on and made a plan to increase success in those areas. LMS Counselor, Mrs. Landmon said the conferences were a great way to praise the 6th graders for their efforts and achievements, as well as get some tips on continued success.
Great job, 6th grade students and staff at LMS for continuing to strive for success!
