Record year for AP passing scores

Posted Date: 9/18/25 (9:37 AM)

This past spring, Leeds High School set a new record for Advanced Placement exams with 147 passing scores! This week, Leeds City Schools gave the AP teachers at LHS $100 for each passing score as a small token of appreciation for their hard work!

The Advanced Placement Program has only been around LHS a few years! The first year LHS offered AP exams was the 2017 school year. That year, we had 45 passing scores. By 2023, the number of passing scores was up to 80.
