Mrs. Georgia Ray

I'm Mrs. Ray, and I teach the writing and grammar portions of our language arts curriculum. This is my thirteenth year at LMS. I spent six years as a special education teacher before joining the sixth grade team in 2018.

I graduated from Birmingham-Southern College with a degree in Collaborative Education (certified in both Elementary Education and Special Education K-6) and received my Master's degree in Secondary Special Education in 2017.

My family consists of my husband, Jeff, my son, Rowan, and my stepdaughter, Brooklyn. Rowan and Brooklyn are the same age and keep us busy with sports and extracurricular activities. We also have two cats, Rhett and Bindi, and a dog, Bonnie.
