Mr. Howard

My name is Caleb Howard, and I am the Band Director at LMS. This is my third year at Leeds. I graduated from Jacksonville State University, where I served as Drum Major for the world-famous Marching Southerners, as well as the Graduate Assistant for the award-winning JSU Jazz Program.

My primary instrument is the saxophone, and you can still find me playing gigs throughout Alabama & Georgia. I am a member of the Alabama Winds & the Alabama Jazz Collective. I also play piano at my church in Hoover.

I live in Moody with my wife, who teaches Elementary Music in Homewood. We have the most perfect cat in the world named Sylvia.
