Mrs. Cassie Pulliam

Hi! My name is Mrs. Pulliam and I am so excited about a new year as the Reading Specialist at Leeds Primary School. It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for every Reader and Writer.

I was raised on a farm in Georgia. The farm is my favorite place in the world to visit and I have lots of fun stories to share. I have one sister and five nephews.

This will be my 20^th year teaching, I taught second grade for one year in Georgia and then moved Alabama. I moved down to first grade… my favorite grade. I love First grade because I got to teach children how to read. I LOVE BOOKS and READING! In my 17th year of teaching, I was asked to consider the Reading Coach position. I was so nervous BUT now I get the amazing privilege of working with every student and teacher at Leeds Primary School.

I am married to a wonderful man, Jason Pulliam. We have two of the most adorable, crazy boys. My oldest son is Taylor and he is Sophmore. My youngest son is Sam and he is a Seventh grader. They are so much fun and keep me on my toes at all times. We enjoy playing ball, fishing, hiking and traveling together. We have two dogs, Max and Hazel that we adopted from the animal shelter. I also have 47 chickens. I LOVE CHICKENS!
