Ms. Brittney Hallmark

Welcome! Thank you for visiting my page! My name is Brittney Hallmark, and I am the EL (English learner) teacher for Leeds Primary School. I serve students who have English as a second language. I also work with EL students at Leeds High School. This is year twelve for me at Leeds City Schools. I interned here thirteen years ago and loved it so much, I have stayed and had many different roles within the school system. I have experience teaching fourth grade, second grade, fifth grade, serving as the reading coach, and now as the EL teacher. I also serve as the yearbook sponsor at LPS and co-facilitator of the teacher Lighthouse Team. I achieved National Board status in 2013. My masters degree is in special education. I earned this degree from JSU. My undergraduate degree is from UAB and is in early childhood/elementary education.

I have a son and daughter of my own. I enjoy reading, kayaking, baseball, camping and being outdoors.
